  I have a weird problem with my 09 plate 1.4 Ford Fusion. With the ignition.engine off and car locked, I get an intermittent, loud crackle through the stereo's speakers. The stereo is the factory fitted unit. Stereo works fine when driving. Is this a common/known problem?

  I need to replace the engine in my Ford Focus. It is a 2007 model with the 115 engine. I beleive there are two engines, the 115 and the 100. Can I replace with either engine or does it have to be the 115? Any help appreciated!

  So, I've got a Ford Focus estate, and the radio itself (6000CD) is working fine. However it is failing to connect with anything it seems. It has an auxillery input in the centre armrest, but no sound transmits. There's a usb port which I can plug my ipod into, and when i do the ipod tells me I am connected fo Ford Audio, but I can do nothing with it on the console.

I have heard that Ford dealers have far more advanced readers that can give Ford specific codes that will not show up on other readers and that their readers/computers will update the ECU software? Although there is nothing apparent wrong with the car and no codes show on my reader, would it be beneficial to get any ford codes read and ECU updated?
