  Here in the US we (or the commercials) pronounce it ?knee-sawn? and ?hun-day?. But I have heard you guys pronounce them ?niss-an? and ?high-oon-die?....

  I phoned the number on the sticker, I was told the salesman lied to me and I do not have roadside assistance. and that I should phone Nissan as the car was still under their warranty. I explained that I did not have their phone number and that I had limited credit on my phone. I was again told I didn't have cover and to phone Nissan. I said you can't leave me stranded on a car park.

  A friend is a fan on the Nissan Juke. I have to admit that they seem a pretty reasonable for a   small cross-over. I an however staggered by the amount she has had to spend on repairs and maintenance over the years. The latest one lost power a few weeks ago and was recovered by the RAC.

  swmbo's 2002 xtrail diesel with 60k Nissan FSH, has intermittent fault of losing power, cutting out and jerky engine. AA said fuel pump. Brought to specialist who managed to experience issue, but it went away after they changed fuel filter and an earth lead.

  My pet theory is that because the car is underpowered the box has been thrashed and the cogs worn or damaged (it isn't he mainshaft bearings cos its only in those gears). Or maybe Nissan figure that wives and mothers will feel more at home in the car if there's something whining in the background.

  Three weeks ago I noticed a kind of 'bubbling' effect on he rim of the console by the gear stick, I contacted the dealer who in turn contacted the warranty dept of Nissan I had no idea what caused it but virtually accused of spilling something chemical on it, spilling coca cola or dangling an air freshener from the fear stick!!!( this is not an isolated incident) None of which where accurate as there is rarely a passenger in it and I am the only driver.
• Nissan Micra 1998 1.0 litre - Remove Clutch cable 16 Feb 2014 (Forum)
  Hi Be grareful of some advice. I'm trying to remove the old clutch cable from my Nissan Micra 1998. I've diconnected it from the pedal and the clutch fork but there is a mounting bracket which the cable is also connected to which I am unable to remove it from. The bracket has a large  "rubber grommet" that is grooved in the centre to fit inside the mount bracket and the cable runs through the centre of the "rubber grommet".
• Nissan Micra - Oil sump and Timing Chain Sprockets 9 Sep 2013 (Forum)
  Hi I be grateful of some advice.... I'm in the process of replacing the Timing Chain in my Nissan Micra 1998 1.0L. Do the Sprockets come out of easy enough i.e. removing the bolt and sprocket from the camshaft or can it be difficult it's something I've haven't done before.I was going to take it to a garage to have it done but it's something I'd like to have a go at myself.

  Hi The main beam on the passengers side of 1998 Nissan Micra is dim. All the other lights are working fine. I swapped the light bulb from the drivers side, to check it wasn't the bulb, and that was also dim. I checked the earth connection although I imagined the earth was Ok since the other lights are Ok. the earth connection was Ok although I cleaned  them anyway.

  Can anyone shed some light? I keep having a problem starting my1997 Nissan Micra. The oil pressure light flashes, the car turns over, but won't start. This happens for 2-3 attempts of trying, then usually the oil pressure light stops flashing and the car starts. Sometimes I have to leave the car for a short while before the light goes out and it starts.

  Today during its 2nd year service, the garage told me the front tyres were nearly worn out at only 8600 miles. I've never had such poor tyre life in 43 years of motoring. This is my first Nissan and I'm not impressed. BT

  A local garage looked at it and said they thought it was the rear wheel bearings were going - the mechanic I spoke to said there is no play in the wheels when you try to rock them but he could hear it when the car was driven past him. Does this sound reasonable? Any suggestions   Noisy Nissan
• Nissan Juke - New car for £150? 25 Feb 2012 (Forum)
  Had a call yesterday from the dealer that sold me my Juke last year. 'Apparently' Nissan don't have enough second hand Jukes to sell, so they are offering select customers a New 12 Plate like-for-like model for £150. Same monthly payment, same bubble. I couldn't see the catch, so ordered mine (in a different colour) over the phone.

  My malfunction light came on constant. I took it into my local garage ( not nissan) he put a computer on it and said it could be a sensor problem. The light went off, he told me to use it for a week. The light came on after about 4 days. He orderd a new sensor, but the car would not start with it in.

• Nissan Primera Primera P12 2.2dCi - Vacuum Pump parts failure 27 Sep 2011 (Forum)
  Mine requires a new cog due to excessive wear.   I can't buy the cog on its own and Nissan want £500 plus VAT for a  new vacuum pump.  Add £50 for the chain and £60 for a tensioner and it's a very expensive job for a 153,000 mile 2004 car even though it's a T-SPEC model.

  Hi I have a Nissan Almera 2005 1.6s and Low beam on headlight doesnt work - i Have replaced the bulbs twice but still nothing - But all bulbs work on high beam - I have checked the fuses (I think the correct ones) the seem to be ok as well.

  A few days ago my Nissan's PS light came on when I started it up and the steering was very heavy and I have been unable to drive it. I had it towed to my local garage and after investigating they are reporting that the Power steering pump has gone and needs replacing.

  Still problem so Pre Cat 02 sensor replaced but still same problem and light came back on again, any ideas what it could be please. Only done about 7000 miles and purchased from Nissan dealer this January. Only three years old at end of September. Any advice gratefully received thanks

  I currently drive a Nissan Primera SX and love the comfort and security but as I'm using it mainly for two long distance drives of around 500 miles a week I was thinking of downsizing to a smaller car and saving money on petrol.
