  I took it back to the dealership and left it with them for 10 working days to see if they could replicate this fault, but with no result (or so they told me), despite telling me on day 2 that the car needed a new gearbox and authorisation was being sought from Nissan for the replacement.  I have also contacted Nissan UK, but all they told me to do was to abide by the dealer's findings - they told me that, as the dealership could find no fault, there was nothing to be done.

  I've only recently passed my driving test (31st March) but am on my third car already (none have been in an accident I might add!) which is a Nissan Micra (S reg 1 litre) All was good until the other night when it was brought to my attention that my tail lights had gone. Simple fix or so I thought. It turned out that the fuse had gone and in the process some wiring had burned through.

  I haven't been here for a while. Its nice to see some old names still here with a few new ones as well. Anyway - my Nissan Primastar, just after being picked up from a full Nissan Main Dealer Service, started revving to the point that I couldn't change gear. My foot was not on the accelerator. I pulled over and turned the ignition off.

  My truck was sign written, for my business and I could get at least 3 or 4 jobs from it per week - obviously I have lost that advertising for the foreseeable future. I will be ringing the manager of Nissan UK customer services on Monday, to get to the bottom of the fault and also find out why the long delay. I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions of how I should approach Nissan to get priority for a speedy repair.

  Hi Wondering if anybody can help. I got a leaf from the local Nissan dealership in 2019. Recently I had a warning light that my tyres needed pumping up, went to do it but somebody had put metal dustcaps on and they are stuck. Took it back to the dealer today (the dustcaps were on there when I got the car) and they’ve tried charging me £400 to get them fixed.

  Hi, Took my car into Nissan today to diagnose two problems. One was the ignition coil which I'm replacing myself. The other is the air con. They said it is definitely the compressor. I can get them on ebay for 40 quid. Car is 13 years old but I like it.

  Hi I was MGF shopping at the weekend with a budget of around £3.5K and came across a Nissan Figaro. Girlfriend fell in love with it and must admit it does stand out and look kind if good in a wierd way. Understand its based on an old micra so assume reliability wise its ok.   Hi all, Got a problem with my 1999 Nissan Micra (k11) headlights. Using the stalk, the sidelights work ok, but when you turn on the dipped headlights, the main beam (blue) indicator light comes on on the dashboard whilst the dipped headlights are on.
• Nissan Micra - Removing Timing Chain Sprockets 9 Sep 2013 (Forum)
  Hi I'm in the process of replacing the Timing Chain in my Nissan Micra 1998 1.0L. Do the Sprockets come out of easy enough i.e. removing the bolt and sprocket from the camshaft or can it be difficult it's something I've haven't done before.I was going to take it to a garage to have it done but it's something I'd like to have a go at myself.
