  Can any one help on this: a while back I asked some questions on the board to try to work out what car to get. We want an automatic but I dont want a particularly big car. We decided on a Nissan Almera. Now I'm thinking, how fuel efficient are these? We dont do a huge amount of driving, no more than 40 miles a week, what does the SLX mean? Will we be guzzling up petrol? At the moment we have an exhausted M reg fiesta.

  Per car by car breakdown, the launch price of the Nissan Murano in the UK will UKP 29,800. In the US (per nissanusa.com) the price ranges from $28,300 to $29,250. Taking the higher price, and adjusting for taxes and exchange rates (assume $1.8 = 1 UKP, VAT at 17.5% and import duty at 10%, for an overall tax rate of 29.25%): $29,250 x 1.2925 / 1.8 = UKP 21,000 Thus, not adjusting for differences in spec (I imagine fairly minor), UK buyers are being ripped off to the tune of UKP 8,800, or 42%.

  Reading HJ's latest auction report (The day?s best buy was probably the 93k mile 95N Nissan QX 2.0 chain-cam V6 in the photo. No auto, no leather, no air, but a big, solid, ultra-reliable minicab for £650.) made me wonder why this famously reliable car is soooooo unpopular.   Hello I am the lucky owner of a 1993 Nissan Sunny 1.4 LX with 60k its a good car except for a slight hesitancy when moving off - occuring at about 1500 rpm. I have replaced all the usual suspects, this car has a Cat although it is not fuel injected in the conventional sense.

  Hi, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this puzzle. My wife bought a used Nissan Note. The paperwork says that it was registered as a Nissan Note Ntec 2011 but when I saw it on the back of the car it says Note and on the other side SVE. I looked at the Ntec on google images and it seems the label says Ntec underneath the Note label on the back left of the car.

  The offside electric window of my 1991 Nissan 200SX failed. I take away the door cover and find out the cable used to pull the window snapped due to rusting. The motor and the mechanism (regulator) are OK. The Nissan dealer suggests that the whole regulator have to be replaced and quotes £165 plus labour for the job.
