• Nissan X-Trail 2.2 2006 - Nissan X-Trail Turbo Model Advice 7 Mar 2019 (Forum)
  When i have rung around scrap yards and looked on a breakers network website, I have been unable to find the matching code. The last Nissan breakers i rang told me i didn't need to worry about the correct code and as long as it comes off a 2.2 it should be fine. Is this advice correct? I find it strange that out of around 20 scrap yards checked, not one of the X-Trails had the matching numbers.

  My wife and I are retired and live in Pembrokeshire. In October 2015 we purchased a new Nissan Qashqai. We had the first annual service in October 2016, the vehicle mileage was 7030. The second annual service has just been completed (06.10.2017) with the mileage now at 13970. The local Nissan dealer has informed us that the vehicle requires new rear brake discs and pads.

  Hello all, We picked up a brand new Nissan Note Xe from dealer last Thursday. My wife drove it without issue for the past couple of days - longest jaunt was a circa 40Km each way motorway drive on Friday. Today, Saturday, she took the kids off to head on a trip.

  I have had enough of my little car. Nissan Micra 1995 (998 cc I think) Automatic. I have had major power loss for a long while. It will loss power like a wind up toy is getting to the end!!! Then it will stall. I restart, and it does the same.

  Our Nissan Note is 13 years old and we've noticed this year that the air con is no longer working. The air con has never been re-gassed. I'm concerned that if we have it re-gassed that may not work as there could be a fault or leak in the air con system.

  Hi all.  I was speaking to a colleague earlier who has a newer model Nissan Qashqai Tekna, basically one of these techy new cars with a digital display.  What I was wondering is, if any of you own one of these, is it possible to update the system with newer softwares when things are fixed or added, or do you have to just wait until buying a new car/newer model to  access the updated features?

  Dealers seem to be fully aware that there is a problem with these vehicles, and a Land Rover dealer recently said to me when riding in the Pathfinder ..."clutch and engine problems?" Nissan seem in denial, yet everyone else is aware...what about other readers of this site?

  i bought my nissan 100nx privatley for £500 with 9 months mot and 4 months tax. i was wondering why the cost of these vese cars are so low compared to other cars of a simialr age and type? the ones on ebay seem to go for next to nothing, not even sold at £400?

  Can anyone advise me where to look first for the problem please? They became faulty once before and during the last genuine Nissan service I had the mecanic found a loose connection and fixed it, at no charge to me. The reversing sensors are quite handy on this thing, LWB van with limited visibility.

  i have got a nissan micra k11. it has manual transmission, a 1L engine and 47k on the clock on a 51 reg. here is a description of the issue: i have a constant whine when coasting (done only for test purposes!!)

  Does Nissan know what they're doing? A Focus-sized hatchback - £20,000 approx - 100 mile range (presumably as accurate as "combined" mpg figures) - 8-hours charging (16 hours in the US due to the 110v supply there - and that's supposedly their biggest market)....and the batteries leased at £100 per month.

  Ive been recently interested in purchasing a van or my kayaks. Its between a Citroen Relay 2.0HDI or a Nissan Primastar 1.9TDI My basic question is what is the fuel consumption for a HDI vs TDI as in does the TDI burn more fuel than the HDI or the other way around. Sorry for the silly questions I just dont know and have been recommend to ask here.

  I need to change my car soon and having looked at the available options the Nissan X-trail seems to be the best match to my needs. However, I'm a bit worried by rum reviews of turbo/intercooler and general reliability problems. But are they really that bad? Or is it just a case of 'only those with a problem write in'?

  My Primera has the same engine blocks as 1.8 Nissan engine which is totally different to pre 1999 1.6 engine. When braking at a junction revs fall and engine cuts out. This only happens on average twice a week. Other times it is fine. Normal idle is 800.

  Heater is only working on setting 4, I have read somewhere that it is a resistor/rectifier? problem common on all Nissans. The offending item is meant to be situated under the glovebox area on the micra,and looks like a credit card?????????? For the life of me I have looked but cannot find anything resembling a credit card......

  Hi. I have a budget of £6500 to spend and toying with the Nissan Primera. Looking at model that is a 2004 onwards with a low to medium mileage. The question is : are they any good? They seem to have a good spec, but unsure of handling and power. I want something with decent handling and a bit of poke.
• Nissan Primera - how to Auto lock doors 18 Jun 2007 (Forum)
  Hi, Does anyone know if/how it is possible to get the car to automatically lock all the doors once you reach a certain speed i.e. 5mph I know my friend has manage to do this with his VW Golf and BMW by hooking up a laptop to his car and adjusting a setting somewhere. So was wondering if there is a similar way to do this with the Nissan Primera? If so any explanation / steps on how to do this would be appreciated =)

  I am going to do a oil change on my Nissan X trail 2.2 DI year 2002,what is the recommended engine oil,is it standard or synthetic,I can get fuchs 15/40 engine oil from work this is for petrol/diesel, turbo and non turbo would this be a good oil to use?
