  Hi, I'm looking for a cheap - max. £3000 small family car after our Nissan Almera Tino got wrecked. I want a smaller car now. I'm quite keen on a Honda Jazz / Civic or a Nissan Note, but not knowing much about cars I find the whole 2nd hand market a minefield to be honest.

  Oil Service of the Nissan Almera N16 should be carried out every 9k and a good quality semi or fully sythentic oil. Personally I use only a high grade fully synthetic oil such as Mobile One or a quality 5w30.  There are many makes of oil on the market so check the API / SG rating on the container.

  We visited Westway Nissan Aldershot on Saturday to have a look at the Leaf, which arrive as a demonstrator earlier in the week. We hadn't booked a test drive (all the slots were filled anyway) and joined at least three other interested parties looking at the car.

  Hi I have a Nissan Almera N16 (2003 revised) with a somewhat annoying sound on occasions but has recently been getting progressively worse and more frequent. The type of noise i hear is a whining/Droning noise which occurs occasionally.

  bought a new van 7 months ago….been a nightmare from the start, been off road for ages due to issues, now it been into Nissan for 5 weeks…but they can’t find a issue got trouble with clutch rattle, Apple car play, door hitting wing, terrible on fuel, rear lights don’t work, running lights don’t work  Its a box van so had a box fitted to a Nissan chassis company we bought from says it’s down to Nissan / box manufacturers to sort the issues….I’ve been told it’s the seller..?

  Whilst we appreciate that all manufacturers can have issues, the ePower system was extensively tested in Japan before release to the wider market. It seems that Nissan is trying to avoid a recall at the moment but the burgeoning number of complaints is worrying. Our dealership has told us that the fault has been identified and the part is ordered and due to be fitted this week.
