  My friend has a Nissan Micra courtesy car and is at a petrol station, but can't open the petrol flap thingy. My car (Toyota) has a pull release to the right, and under the steering wheel, but she can't see anything similar.

  I Have a 2004 Nissan Primera 2.2 dci which has done 42,000 miles, just recently on start up the tickover has become uneven. The rev counter flutters up and down, not drastically but you do feel like it`s going to stall.

  I've got a friend who tows a fairly heavy Caravan with a 2000(W) 3.0 ltr diesel Nissan Patrol and he is thinking about chipping it to get some more low end grunt, have any of the backroomers got any experience of this type of conversion or similar as well as the pro's/con's of such a move.?

  I am thinking of buying a Nissan Almera, It has been written off by the insurance as cat c. The dealer selling the car told me that he has replaced front head lights, front, back bumper and a passanger side wing. Its for about 2000 £ and is 7 years old.

  My next door neighbours sister-in-law went shopping to Barkingside in Essex a couple of weeks ago, parked and locked/alarmed up her 2 year old X Trail, when she returned the car had gone, and has not been seen since. I thought modern cars were almost as safe as houses, is she unlucky or are Nissans easy to steal? Regards

  Hello We just purchased the above vehicle as a Golf GTI decided to rear end and write off my wifes car. The insurance payment as you can imagine on a H reg nissan was not good. Does anybody know when the timing belt needs changing on these cars. Is there a service manual for these I tried Haynes but nothing. I would appreciate any help guys Thanks

  I have a 1998 Nissan almera 1.4 16v (GA14 engine). The owners manual suggests the use of 10w30 oil, however a friend has recommended 5w30 semi synthetic (says it is better on cold start, but same at normal operating temperature).

  John; I have a 1998 Nissan Altima, the temperature gauge has started to vibrate while i am driving at slow to moderate speed, at highway speed the gauge does not vibrate and it tends to stay at the cars working temperature.

  A friends Nissan QX 3 years old. When cold it won’t start without a little throttle but once started you need to keep a bit of throttle on for a mile then it is perfectly ok for the rest of the day. I have not had chance to look at it but assume the stepper motor is not kicking in.

  Hi, I've got a problem with a J-reg Nissan Sunny in that when you press the brake peddle, the sidelights come on. Haven't seen it for myself yet, not my car, but the only solution at the moment it to drive with the sidelights on! Any idea what could be causing this?
