• Nissan Note (2006 - ) - 06 1.6 parking sensors 25 Jan 2010 (Forum)
  Has anyone experience of fitting a parking sensor to a Nissan Note? I like the look of the Meta SR2 Targa, but this fits behind the number plate and thus poses a particular problem for the Note, where the plate is glued rather than screwed or bolted to the body.

  I've recently been asked my thoughts about the Nissan QX by someone thinking about buying one. I know nothing about them, other then they're big and often minicabbed, so I turned to CBC. Nix. Is this the only car HJ hasn't got any info for? I was slightly taken aback!

  Help needed, I have a 1.2l 5 door 03 plate micra that has decided it will only fill with 10litres of fuel, sometimes it only will fill up with 3l!! Nissan dealer has quoted £400 to replace a sensor? Seems a bit steep. Any advice?? Thanks

  It appears the saga of the failing turbo continues. Usual story, black smoke, lack of power. A phone call to Nissan and they advise repair bill of £1800 !! From experience, could it be anything else, ie loose pipes, etc, or am I confined to replacing the whole unit?

  I have a K reg. Nissan Sunny auto. which I paid peanuts for about 5 years ago. It has been exellent cheap transport but now the electric windows have stopped working. I have checked the fuses and they are all OK. Any suggestions would be appreciated

  Hi can anyone help me please. I very stupidly bought a Nissan Serena 1.6GX without test driving it. The speedo doesn't work! Would like to know if it runs off a fuse or cable and if it has a sensor on the gear box before I take it to the garage. All help gratefully accepted.

  I have recently bought a 1.4 Nissan Note (more of which at a later date) which has a cam chain rather than a belt. Chain drive seems pretty rare nowadays but what are the advantages of a belt over a chain. Seems that the belt just means a copuple of hundred quid down the road to replace the belt every now and then.

  Hello all, I' m considering a Nissan Tino 2.2 diesel as a relaible, no nonsense, no fuss, get in and go, carry the baby gear, carry the mountain bikes, tow the trailer, a2b mobile. Fancied the Toyota Verso, but at pushing 3k more for the same plate I backed off.

  This time I am told they need to replace the 'mechanical' part of the switch, as last time they replaced the 'eletrical' part. Am I beinging fed a line, or does the central locking system on a Nissan 2.2 D estate with central locking have two parts?????????

  I am think of buying a 2000 Nissan Almera Tino 2.2 diesel. When I took it for a test drive the car pulled to the left. The garage has checked out the wheel aliengment(slight adjustment required) and replaced the front tyres.They say that this has solved the problem.

  I bought the standard sat nav system for the P12 primera off the net the other day its still in the box and hasnt been used but ive been told that im missing some cables that go to the DVD box (power cable and a gps lead). Is there anywhere i can get spare parts for it other than nissan dealers. Thanx

  The car has been in for repair seven times for a total of 136 days (4 and a bit months) - that's now over 50% of the time we've owned the car. The dealer we bought it from closed down in July 2014, so we were directed by Nissan Customer Services to have it repaired at another Nissan dealer. This second dealer have had it six separate times, and presently have been in possession of it since 5th November 2014. I have been in constant communication with Nissan Customer Services, and wrote a complaint to their director at the start of 2015, so now have a case manager from the 'director's office'.

  Result was lost gas, and warm air blowing. Sadly the fix will be protracted as car needs 3 new pipes under warranty, but Nissan have none in the UK, so I have been told be dealer and leasco. I am also informed that my problem is not isolated and all supplies of parts have been used, and no one knows when Nissan will get any more.

  Hi  I have had the above car since it was 6 months old. Always serviced by the Nissan dealer. Last service was June for the major 50,000M service. Since June it has broken down 3 times. First two times (early July, only 2 weeks after service) and 5th September Nissan kept the car for a month as they said they needed to order a part.
