  Tomorrow I'm going to see a 1994 1.4 Nissan Sunny [135k miles]. Does it have cambelt or chain? If belt, what is replacement interval and is it interference engine? It will be used by my wife for learning to drive. But just don't want it to break down next week.

  hi im looking at buying the new nissan note. i wonderered have any of you own one or have test driven one...ive got a cmax and ive had enough of it .so its now time for a new car.we looked at one today 1.6 automatic and its quite nice ...if any of you could give any advice id be grateful

  Was pondering this on the way to work this morning (radio was boring me!). Are the likes of Saab/Volvo and Nissan less reliable than they were before being swallowed up by the big fish? They have always been a challenger brand and stood for quality and reliability and went on forever. Doesnt seem the case now.

  Sorry, I don't normally complain about pop-ups on this site but that Nissan pop-up is driving me nuts. The roll down one is bad enough but I appreciate this site has got to pay its way. The new pop-up appears on every screen and clicking on it in the hope it will then go away only gives a "page cannot be displayed" error!!!

  I have a Nissan Micra 1.0 16v 1993 (the newer shape one). It starts and idles OK, but complete loss of power when the accelerator is pressed and cuts out. I have changed the fuel filter, rotor arm and distributor cap with no significant benefit.

  Second year running that my Nissan Pulsar 1.6 has failed its MOT on a broken coil spring (different side each time). Roads round our way are terrible these days. What’s the best used sub-£10k pothole proof SUV? I’m sure most of the “soft roaders” out there will be no tougher than my Nissan.

  Was recovered to local main dealer who said the oil filter was loose by at least 1 1/2 turns and had ruined the engine. Nissan will not look at it as the car was 7k past its service schedule. Do oil filters just come loose with no warning or was it incorrectly fitted in the first place (nissan main dealer)?

  Hi. I have a R reg, 1.4 Nissan Almera. When I turn the heater/blower on it goes... 1,2,3 nothing, 4, full blast. I have been told that this is the heater resistor. I called nissan and got a quote for £37.51. I think I would rather go to the scrappy and get one (and take a chance it works).

  I recently purchased a new to me 2015 Nissan qashqai  1.6 dci. Imprrssd with the car so far. Yesterday I opend the bonnet to do the usuel checks and saw how tiny the engin actuly is (lots of ancillary parts fill the engin bay) infact the battery actuly looks bigger than the engin.

   My high level Brake light has failed. Manual says can only be dealt with by Nissan dealer, presumably at high cost. Is the bulb accessible for a D-I-Y fix please? Also not sure if this is an MOT failure but other two brake lights working fine. Thanks.

  See HJ's road test. I have never been a Nissan fan though the old (Datsun) 240 and 260zs were good in their day, the 280 and 300 less so. The 350Z looks and sounds nice, I was following one in the ST the other day, lovely V6 wail as it revved.
