  Hi, hope someone can help - we have gone out to our yr 2000/X 1.5S Nissan Almera and locked it as usual, and I just happened to check the passenger front door was locked - and to my surprise, it wasn't, despite ALL the other doors having locked using the keyfob remote. I am completely foxed as to how this can have happened, especially on a Nissan?!

  Given Citroen's experience of hydaulic suspension you would think they would be well placed to enter this market. And as Renault and Nissan are joined (or taken over?), Renault could re-badge a Nissan 4x4 as a quick solution. If a Renault Trafic can be a Nissan Primastar, why can't a Nissan Terrano be a Renault?

  I was thinking about downsizing from my BMW 330 to a new Clio or something nondescript. Now I see I can have a Nissan Almera Pulse with cd and aircon for £7250! My brother bought an old 100k Nissan Sunny once as a stop gap car. It had well over a 100k miles. In the year he had it it never broke down. returned 40 mpg and was sold with another 30k miles on it at a profit!

  I purchased the following vehicle from Arnold Clark, Nissan, Perth, Dunkeld Road, Perth, PH1 3XJ When fitting a new tow bar, the engineer at my local garage identified the following :- •              The vehicle had previously been fitted with a tow bar....the tow bar socket was in a plastic bag taped to the underside of the vehicle and the left and right tow bar anchors were still in situ.

  Also I am a little concerned about the clutch being repaired on an extended warranty. The dealer states that this is a grey area, but the Nissan Cared 4 warranty states that I should only pay for the friction materials. I am a bit miffed as I could be forking out a considerable bill on Monday when the clutch is replaced if the dealer decides it's normal wear and tear and I have to pay the full amount, and I think this is unfair as the clutch has failes prematurely.

  hi, Today i was driving my nissan almera (03 reg, with 69000 on clock) for 2 hrs on motorway and when i left the motor way and came to traffic lights to stop i found car revs going very down nearly at zero but then it goes up to its origional pt (pt where they r used to b starting the car).

  Looking for a 1-2yo Almera auto, the supermakets sold out of the ones I was interested in before I had a chance to jump, so I have been trying a few dealers. Have found one at a non-silly price from a Nissan dealer (done a bit over 10k mils in 18 months), and asked about its history. It was not a hire car, but it was owned by Nissan UK. I asked id that meant it had been a demonstrator and was told no, it would likely have been used by Nissan staff as a company car, possibly on a shared basis.

  Any ideas of how to solve an annoying glove box squeak type rattle. Have been to the local Nissan agent and have tried to resolve but the rattle seems to be coming from the roof of the glove box. I am not sure if it something to do with the air con that is contained in the glove box... Thank you   CGH

  Only one of the heater-blower speeds on my Nissan Micra is working. According to the manual wiring diagram there are 'heater-blower resistors'. Is it likely that these need replacing or is it more probable to be just the switch? Thanks. {Year of car picked up from a previous post of yours.

  The ABS warning light on my wife's 6 year old, 10,000 mile, micra C+C stays on. Nissan in Grantham say they found water in the unit and want £1,900 to replace it. Does anyone supply reconditioned ABS units, I have a local garage who can do the work ThanksCR

  Saw a Nissan Juke for the first time yesterday. I can't believe that anyone would design a car that looked that ridiculous! Must be the ugliest car I've seen for a long time, from any angle. I suppose it has some sort of novelty value, but I'm darned if I can understand why anyone would buy one on looks.

  The new 1.5 Diesel Nissan Note from November is Euro 5, 110g/km and has a DPF.Can anyone advise if the current model, Euro 4, 115g/km has one? I realise all Diesels will have DPFs fitted before long, does that mean that they will all be unsuitable for town driving due to regeneration issues?
