Overall reliability

Roomy, solid and a good performer.

I bought the car so my wife who has a disability will find it easier to get in and out.The front doors open quite wide and the roof is higher.I chose the semi auto for ease of driving.I had to take the vehicle back within its warranty because of failed aircon which should have been picked up.I like the engine performance, plenty of torque from 140 ps although a bit noisy because of the upper cylinder mechanics,as long as the correct oil is used and changed regular it was reliable. There was some work required over the years, three broken springs,a broken rear antiroll bar,a failed abs modulator, footbrake switch, aircon radiator, coolant radiator and corroded brake backplates. The car had done 150000 miles when I part exchanged it.The Gearbox was faulty normally when it was warm, the turbo would occasionally overboost and the shockabsorbers were starting to fail.I enjoyed driving the car and did most of the work myself,I hope its replacement will be more reliable.
