Frugal fun

It's far livelier than the official numbers suggest and has all the go you need, at 2000rpm or less. The tree all 6th gear gets more use than I expected.I also find it easy to average close to 50mpg. When we looked at the car in the showroom we decided to live with the small boot. It's a tiny car by modern standards so seems a fair trade. In fact we find it's fine 99% of the time, and fold a back seat down and it's coped with everything we have needed. It has impressive levels of grip and is surprisingly comfortable for a small car, never mind a sporty one. Sports are made in Japan so yes, not a bargain but excellent quality and loaded with kit that all works.. It isn't the quietest car ever and the steering doesn't have the delicate tactile feel I like but overall you can't help loving the little rocket.
