Overall reliability

reliable, comfortable, economical. "does what it says on the tin"

Blue drive means £20 road tax, in rural areas achieves high 50's mpg. After five years and 78000 miles, nothing rattles or squeaks. Wheel size means tyres are about £50 each. Reliable, nothing more than servicing bits and pieces. Comfortable, cruise control and radio controls on steering wheel helps relaxed driving . Six speed gearbox very smooth, steering solid (can be set to three different weights). Not intended to be a high performance car, but turbo allows overtaking when needed. Quiet enough to be able to hear the radio at 70 mph. I am on my third i30, averaging 15000 a year. Carries all the wood and r****** in a good size boot. I like i30s, they are workhorses, not flash, but solidly made. My only negative points. The driver seat is wearing after 78000 miles and five years, and at night , everytime you change a radio station at night , you have to keep manually dimming the bright radio display, by pressing a button. So I think this is a pretty good car. It's low running costs and relaibility is delaying me buying an EV at the moment.
