A very practical car that is also light and attractive and has modern electronic systems

My second Citroen C4 Picasso, OK, the new one is called a C4 Space Tourer but it’s only a change of name. However the first one was a diesel with an 11 registration whilst the new one is petrol. But that’s not the main difference. The reality is that the Space Tourer is a completely different car on a new floor pan making the new one a third of a ton less heavy. Yes, a third of a ton less! Couple that to an engine that has more power and revs so much more easily, it drives so much better. So new floor pan, new more powerful motor and yes, all the current electronic systems such as keyless start, stop -start, automatic locking-unlocking., etc etc. itv also has the panoramic windscreen and a glass roof so it’s as light and airy as any car can be.

It’s also practical in day to day use. Five seats for adults and a fair size boot. Drop the back seats down and two large builders bags of r****** can get taken to the local tip in the one trip. It’s not a sports car but has more than enough power for most people and cruises very easily all day on active cruise control on the continent at 130-140 kph.

All in all, an excellent family transport.
