fast, fun and exclusive little car

Bought the car from Preston Motorparks, paying half now and half interest free after two years. Very few Abarth dealers around and no-one offering discount on list price. Only standard colour was 'undercoat' grey so paid extra for white!

Done 14000 miles in first year. Only problems so far are small ones - bonnet catch cable needed reconnecting twice by dealer and boot catch works loose and rattles. Averaging 40 mpg on mixed urban and motorway driving ('sport' button pressed in all time). Otherwise seems to be well screwed together and reliable.

Loads of Fiat 500s around but very few Abarth 500s so fairly exclusive and seems to attract attention. Good fun to drive - very nippy. Fairly practical for a small car and nice interior.

Not yet serviced but quoted £436 for the 18000 mile service. Insurance costs quite low but road tax high (£180)
2019 update. Finally traded in after 6 years and 89000 miles. Got fed up with poor build quality and random parts breaking (three door handles replaced but apparently not a fiat design/quality issue??). Shame as it was a nice car.
