FIAT Tipo 1.4T

The new Tipo has been widely derided as “not up to the mark” compared to the likes of the Ford Focus or VW Golf. Excuse me. Car for car, the Tipo is at least £6000 cheaper than the Focus or Golf, and that’s before any discounting.

Though the Tipo starts at £12,995, pick of the range for me is the 1.4T that for £14,995 offers a very acceptable alternative with reasonable, if not best in class, steering, ride, handling and performance. And it’s not bad looking either.
