It’s quick. Very quick

The V8 Mustang will hit 62mph in just 4.8 seconds, making it the fastest coupe Ford has ever sold in Europe (unless you count the 2005 limited-run GT40 supercar). Even the Ecoboost version adds just one second to that time, but returns up to 35.3mpg and 179g/km CO2. The V8, however, returns up to 20.9mpg and 299g/km. There’s always a catch, see. 

Manual and automatic versions are available from launch for both cars, both six-speed units, though the 5.0-litre manual is the only version equipped with Launch Control for perfectly rapid getaways.
