It costs less £30,000

The Mustang has always been a car whose remit was to bring performance to the masses, and it’s certainly doing that for UK buyers. Relatively speaking, obviously. But with a starting price of £28,995 for a 2.3-litre Ecoboost version with 314 PS, it’s a real bargain.

Even the proper 'muscle car' version, with a 5.0-litre V8 putting out 418PS, costs just £32,995 – making it considerably cheaper than a many a lower level diesel coupe from Germany, for instance.
