The 911’s 50th birthday will be one of the biggest anniversaries being celebrated at this year’s festival, and there will be a huge display of classics. Porsche will have all seven generations of its famous rear-engined sports car at Goodwood, as well as a number of rare and historic models.

Leading the way will be an original 911 from 1967, along with the new GT3 that will be making its UK debut. There will also be a collection of Le Mans cars in action, including the 911 GT1 that won the 24-hour race in 1998 (pictured).
