Cameron FIAT 500 Makes £18,480 in Classic Car Auction

A 1971 FIAT 500 L once owned by David and Samantha Cameron made more than double its estimate at the 17th November sale by Silverstone Auctions at The Footman James Classic Motor Show.

The 500 was bought by David Cameron in 1998 as a surprise birthday present for his wife Samantha. Last Saturday it eventually sold for £18,480.

41 out of the 64 entries were sold, reaching a buyer's premium inclusive sale value of £1.32 million.
