10 O and 3 OOO Registrtations up for Auction

DVLA Personalised Registrations’ three-day autumn auction will get underway on Tuesday, October 5.

Rudding Park Hotel, near Harrogate, is the setting for the event which will feature 1,500 personalised registrations. The “star” plate will undoubtedly be 10 O which boasts the highest reserve at £10,000.

DVLA organisers have, as ever, dug deep into the Agency’s vaults by conjuring a wide variety of registrations to suit all tastes and budgets, with reserve prices starting from as little as £250.

Damian Lawson, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Marketing Manager, said: “Rudding Park is a spectacular venue and one certainly to savour. As usual, we have come up with a tremendous array of personalised registrations to suit all tastes and budgets.”

In total, DVLA’s forthcoming auction will comprise 1500 registrations chosen to offer  an eclectic mix to suit all tastes, styles and pockets, including, 99 A (reserve -  £3,000), ALV 15S (£400), ASK 70M (£400), A599 GTO (£900), B16 ONE (£900), FLY 805S (£350), F50 XXX (£400), F4 SER(£900), GEN 151S (£350), H15 DOG (£900), LFC 80Y (£400), LAM 80S (£400), MAX 104D (£400), 10 O (£10,000), 3 OOO (£4,000), ONE 805S (£400), ORE 60N (£400), RA55 STA (£900).

It is illegal to misrepresent a vehicle registration on a number plate, for example move RA55 STA so it reads RA55STA, or 3 OOO so it reads 3OOO. The rules governing their correct display can be found at: dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk in the ‘Got a Question?’ section.

The final cost comprises the winning amount, auctioneers commission, 17.5 per cent VAT and the £80 transfer fee.

Millions of other personalised registrations can be viewed at DVLA Personalised Registrations’ official website, dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk.
