Fiat 500

Overall rating: 77.92%

Stylish looks and Italian character have carried the Fiat 500 a long way with many buyers, but its poor practicality hold it back from avoiding the bottom 10. It also puts in a below par showing for ride comfort and performance, though plenty of owners reckon the handling is a saving grace.

In other areas, the Fiat has only middling scores for build quality and fuel economy. It does record a good rating for reliability, second only to the BMW Z4 in this group of 10 under-achievers, so at least it should prove dependable.
