Volkswagen Touran

Overall rating: 77.63%

You might not be expecting to see a Volkswagen in this less than exalted company, but repair costs and reliability are what put the Touran in this bottom 10 bracket of our Satisfaction Index. Owners also reckon its performance comes up short and have awarded it the lowest ranking of any model in this trailing group.

There’s better news when it comes to build quality and practicality, which we’d expect from an MPV that offers seven seats and plenty of versatility in the way they fold. It also does well for safety, as we’d hope for a car aimed squarely at family buyers.
