Toyota Camry 2.4 vs Avensis 2.4
"Please could you tell me the relative strengths / weaknesses of the Toyota Camry 2.4 against the Avensis 2.4?"
The Camry was a bigger car altogether. The UK market Avensis was a newer car. The 2.4 is rare in the UK, built only from 2003 to 2005. I don't think I've ever seen one.

My Toyota Camry has an idling problem - is it an electrical or mechanical fault?
"I have got a Toyota Camry VVT automatic 2004 that tends to have a misfire. I have changed the plugs and tested the coil packs and found the number two piston to be the reason for that. Is the problem electrical or mechanical?"
Do you mean number two cylinder (not piston)? If you suspect that it is at fault then you need to carry out a compression test on that cylinder. This will then tell you if there is a fault inside the cylinder. If the compression is good then the fault will lie outside, i.e. the fuel or electrical system associated with that cylinder.

Exhausted search
"Thank you for your prompt response. Having been unable to source an exhaust system for my ageing Toyota Camry 3000 V6 GX, the only company on your list able to offer the rear exhaust box and mid section was Long Life, who were most helpful. The all in cost of a custom built stainless steel rear box and mid section, including fitting and VAT, was £350. Thank you again. Very impressed."
Excellent. It will outlast the car. (www.longlife.co.uk)
