Well proportioned, good looking and practical small estate car based on the 207. 4,156mm long. Rear seats split 60/40 and fold down very easily in one go without removing head restraints to leave a flat load area. Also has lift up rear window so hatch does not have to be opened to load small items. Very distinctive styled roof bars. Full length Cielo glass panoramic roof as standard

Shares same wheelbase as the 207 five door hatchback but with increased length of 119 mm and 38 mm extra height the 207 SW provides more rear headroom and interior space. This extra length also creates a larger rear luggage space of 325 litres (270 litres for the 207 Hatchback) and with the rear seats folded, 1410 litres.

Available at launch with four engine options, two HDi diesels, 1.6 litre 90 bhp and 1.6 litre 110 bhp and two petrol engines developed as part of the co-operation with the BMW Group. The first petrol engine option is an all new 1.4 litre VTi 95 bhp engine and the second the current 1.6 litre VTi 120 bhp engine found in the 207 CC and 207 hatchback range. Both have fully variable valve timing for exhaust and inlet valves and variable valve lift on the inlet valves. The use of this technology ensures low fuel consumption and emissions, without restricting overall engine performance. All fitted with a manual five speed gearbox with ratios selected to match the individual engine characteristics (no auto at launch). Two trim levels, S and Sport.

207 SW Outdoor with raised suspension on sale December 2007. 16” ‘Outdoor’ alloy wheels with special 205/55R 16 tyres and large Narbonnais grey wheel arch extensions / sill mouldings. 1,555mm high, 28mm more than 207 SW Sport. Announcement of facelift from August 2009.,Twelve different engines, including a 175PS 1.6 Turbo. Revised exterior and interior styling. New standard equipment. Low CO2 emissions.

Redesigned front with a softer visual look. Increased use of exterior body colouring and chrome detailing. Spectacular new rear lights which use panels of light emitting diodes (LEDs) on the hatchback and CC models. More luxurious Passenger Compartment with new trims and detailing which place the emphasis on perceived quality, comfort and dynamism, new instrument panel designs with a more modern look and visual appeal.

The new 207 benefits from: Particularly fuel efficient engines with reduced greenhouse gas emissions. “Very low fuel consumption” optimised not only aerodynamically but also by operation of the engine itself and the rolling resistance of the vehicle, allowing CO2 emissions to be reduced to 99 g/km. Gradual introduction of engines meeting the Euro5 emission standard. Introduction of a gear change indicator on manual gearbox models to encourage the driver to drive in a more fuel efficient way.

New standard equipment to include: Peugeot Connect USB with Bluetooth, in-car entertainment system. One-touch direction indicator function for safe lane changes. Remote controlled window closure, via the plip unit on hatchback and SW models. One-touch operation of the driver's electric window on the 207 CC. 207SW range includes 207SW Outdoor version.

Introduction of a new 6-Speed manual gearbox and a new Euro 5 HDi diesel engine. The 207 Sport HDi 110 hatchback and SW Sport and Outdoor HDi 110 models are now replaced by new versions fitted with a new 6-speed manual gearbox and a more powerful HDi 112 bhp diesel engine.

This new 1.6 litre HDi 112 FAP diesel engine meets the requirements of the Euro 5 emission standards and benefits from a number of improvements over the current 110 bhp unit. These include increased performance in terms of driveability and responsiveness, as well as quieter operation, while at the same time reducing CO2emissions.

Thanks to its new hi-tech design, this new four cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,560 cm 3 and eight valves, has a maximum torque output of 270 Nm at 1,750 rpm, an increase of 12.5% over the current engine and, during overboost, 285 compared to 260 Nm. It also has a very wide operating range with high levels of torque available at all times, ensuring good driveability and reduced fuel consumption on a day to day basis (since the user can drive more often at lower engine speeds): 135 Nm from 1000 rpm, 242 at 1500 rpm, 270 from 1750 to 2000 and 224 Nm at 3500 rpm. Its maximum power output is 112 bhp at 3600 rpm.

Peugeot’s popular 207 hatchback and SW range will expanded with introduction of a Special Edition Millesim 200 version. Available with a choice of petrol and HDi diesel engines. The Millesim model will strengthen the 207 range with its upgraded standard specification and unique Millesim badging, offering even greater value for money for retail customers.

All models are based on the current S hatchback and SW versions but benefit from a range of extra standard equipment consisting of: 15” alloy wheels, Peugeot Connect USB & Bluetooth, front fog lights, sports front grille with chrome detailing, coloured coded side rubbing strips with chrome inserts, aluminium roof bars (SW only) and unique Millesim 200 badging.

Model Range

As well as the extra standard equipment, all Millesim 200 models also benefit from: ABS, electronic brake force distribution (EBFD), emergency brake assist (EBA), power steering, four airbags, remote control central locking with deadlocks, three rear three-point seat belts, 2/3–1/3 split folding rear seat, steering column adjustable for reach and rake, radio / single CD player, body colour exterior door mirrors, black body side mouldings, trip computer, electrically operated / heated door mirrors, air-conditioning…

The fitment of Peugeot Connect USB & Bluetooth enables a portable MP3 player or iPod to be connected to the vehicle and full Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity allows hands-free phone calls to be made and received by the driver using just the controls on the steering column.

The 207 Millesim will be available with two petrol engine options in the hatchback version. The first is a 1.4 litre 8v 75 bhp engine and the second a 1.4 litre 16v VTi 95 bhp engine. This engine uses Peugeot’s innovative VTi technology to improve the engine’s efficiency, significantly reducing fuel consumption (particularly in phases of partial load) and, therefore, CO2emissions. The 207 SW Millesim is only available with the 1.4 litre 16v VTi 95 bhp petrol engine.

For hatchback HDi diesel versions, the 207 Millesim is powered by Peugeot’s 1.4 litre HDi 70 or a 1.6 litre HDi 90 engine. Both engines are acknowledged for their driveability, performance and low running costs of 65.7 mpg (64.2 mpg for the SW) in the combined cycle and zero vehicle excise duty. The 207 SW Millisem is only available with the 1.6 litre HDi 90 bhp diesel engine.

The 207 Millesim 200 also benefits from Peugeot’s extensive experience and the latest technological advances to ensure safety of the highest order at all levels. Standard fitment across all models of: four airbags, five three-point inertia reel seat belts with a fasten seat belt warning system, front and rear head restraints designed to limit whiplash, two Isofix mountings to accommodate a child seat and an electrically operated child safety system which simply and safely locks the rear doors and disables the electric rear windows on five-door models and the SW.

The 207 Millesim range will be launched in the UK in June priced from £11,995.00 on-the-road for the1.4 8v 75 petrol hatchback version. All models bought in June will also come with a free Nokia 5230 smart phone with inbuilt satellite navigation with free future updates and an in-car mounting kit.
