Land Rover's Approved Used Scheme

Scheme name: Land Rover Approved

Warranty period: 12 months. Work is only ever undertaken by Land Rover Trained Technicians using Genuine Parts, approved tools and diagnostic equipment. There are no limits to the number of claims that can be made, up to the vehicle purchase price. This is only available through an authorised Land Rover Retailer. Land Rover Battery Electric and Plug in Hybrid vehicles also include the balance of Battery Warranty up to 8 years and 100,000 miles.

History check? The history of every vehicle is comprehensively checked. All vehicles come with an Independently Verified Mileage and a Certified Ownership History to ensure that there is no finance outstanding on the vehicle and that it has not been stolen or written-off.

Inspection? A 'stringent' checklist of 165 inspection processes in place. Using the very latest technologies, tools and diagnostic equipment, the inspection includes paintwork, interior, a complete engine preparation, road test and a final inspection before the vehicle is personally signed off by the Land Rover technician. All vehicles must pass all 165 checks to become Land Rover Approved.

Breakdown Cover: 12 months with UK and European Roadside Assistance. This operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and includes home start, car hire, vehicle re-delivery and accommodation. Also included is Accident management service - following an accident, your onward travel, accommodation arrangements, vehicle recovery, legal advice and insurance company liaison are covered.

Exchange policy: 30 days/1000 miles. It will be replaced with one of a similar specification or a refund will be offered

Extras: Seven days insurance cover. All Approved Used vehicles are provided with MoT Test Warranty. When the vehicle is required to take its first or next MoT Test, it will be covered for the cost of repair, replacement and/or adjustment to covered components up to the value of £750, should the vehicle fail the MoT test (£50 excess payable). There is also a complimentary half-day Land Rover Experience at one of the Experience Centres located throughout the UK.
