Can you provide more details of the emissions testing that the Wolfsburg Volkswagen engineers carried out?

I'm experiencing a lot less mpg, more noise, more DPF regeneration and less power since my car had the emissions update in August 2016. If you are in touch with Volkswagen engineers in Germany, can you ask them to provide the details of the testing they carried out? As we know, reducing NOx emissions requires more fuel, creates more soot and therefore DPF regenerations as a result. As a respected journalist, is there any way you can report the issues people are facing, as opposed to listening to Volkswagen's obvious pack of lies. Ordinary people need the help of someone like you to get this issue out there, as at the moment Volkswagen are just burying everything as deep as they can.

We simply won't know how much ash the increased DPF regenerations create until we start hearing of NOx fixed EA189s that have needed new DPFs. "As a respected journalist" I have reported every single instance of problems people have reported to me in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar and will continue to do so. If what I have been told is "a pack of lies" it will be exposed by this process. The precise detail of the software fixed for the 1000 or so permutations of cars and engines are not relevant. All that is relevant is whether they work and whether the vast majority of NOx fixed cars deliver the same power, torque, fuel economy and emissions as they did before. If they don't for a small minority of cars the reasons could be pre-existing wear and blockages in the fuel and emissions systems. We'll find out.
