Can I reject my car over its missing service history?

I purchased a used Renault Clio from a dealer six weeks ago and found out when I got home that I didn't have any service history. The salesperson has told me that they cannot find the service history. They have also not sent me the details of the car's pre-sale service. I've tried contacting Renault UK, but they say they have no records of the car's previous owners or service history. What should I do?
