Consequences of using AdBlue in an Eolys DPF system?
I went to my local independent garage with a fuel additive warning on the dashboard. They topped it up but the engine management light came back on. I have now discovered that they used AdBlue in an Eolys system. What are the long term consequences of topping up an Eolys system with AdBlue? Can it effect the EGR valve?

I am not sufficiently technical to tell you. But I can tell you that your local garage is useless and is 100 per cent liable for any damage it may have caused.
Get the van to a Peugeot dealer, have the damage assessed, and have your local garage pay for it. Peugeot itself did not switch over to AdBlue until Spring 2014, and then only for its latest blue-HDI engines.
