Have any other readers found markings inside a car which authenticates its build date?

Autofarm is restoring a 1972 Porsche 911 which you kindly featured just over a year ago. On stripping the car down they have found inscribed on the inside of the bodyshell, a football score between what looks like a Munchengladbach and Inter Milan and the score 7:1. We checked and this match took place on 20 October 1971, dating the time the car was on the production line.

That definitely authenticates the build date. Have any other readers found markings or old newspapers inside a car that help to date when it was built?
