My Mazda2 needs will soon need its first service. My mechanic is fully qualified but not VAT registered. If he serviced my car would I forfeit my manufacturers guarantee?
Definitely. Nothing to do with being VAT registered. Everything to do with his competence to do the job to manufacturer standards using the correct parts and fluids.
