Disconnecting the battery - hybrid alert!

I will not be using my car for nine weeks (it will be left in the garage), and to ensure that the battery does not go flat period I want to disconnect the battery. Advice needed. Can I disconnect the neutral terminal on the battery for this period? Without it harming the electric motor?
Yes of course, you can remove both positive and negative terminals (don't forget you radio code before disconnecting). You may want to remove completely and put the battery on a trickle charge (considering it will be left over winter). When you do refit, do not switch anything on at all and leave for 15 minutes or so, to allow the ECU to reset itself. Then start the engine.
