I had my parking fine from an M6 service station cancelled after threatening to ban my sales force from using them.

You have helped me with this info in the past, but on the last occasion with an unfair £80 fine at an M6 Moto service station, they refused my offer of £10. I then wrote to Moto head office directly and informed them that I would ban my salesforce from attending any of their service areas as well as passing this advice to a trade body that I am a member of; no idle threat I hasten to add. The response was very positive and the fine was cancelled.

Brilliant. Well done. Often the landowners (and most of out Members of Parliament) are not fully aware of what the cowboy enforcement agencies they have employed are doing. In the past I have received refunds of unclamping fees after contacting the landowners.
