I'm a named driver on my wife's policy. Do I need to tell them of a speeding fine?

Whilst I'm about to tell my insurer of my recent speeding fine and three points, do I need to tell my wife's car insurer? I'm a named driver on her policy.

Yes, you do. Though some insurers say you only need to make them aware at renewal. Personally, I would always advise them to ensure they fulfil their legal obligations.
