I had an accident as a named driver on my wife's policy - do I need to tell my own insurer?

I had an accident in my wife's car which was deemed my fault and her insurance paid out as I am a named driver. When the renewal comes up for my car, (a different insurance company), do I have to tell them even though they did not incur any costs?

Yes, you will need to advise you have been involved in an accident and made a claim on her insurance.
