My son is a named driver on my policy and has been banned from driving - do I need to let my insurer know?

My son is an additional driver on my policy. He is 19 and has a ban for 28 days from court today for speeding. Do I need to let my insurance know about his ban?

I would remove your son from your insurance as the cost will go through the roof when you advise them.
