Is it beneficial to 'buy back' my insurers third party costs?

I have been deemed to have damaged a third party parked car following an independent engineers report. I accept the report and realise my insurer will treat the matter as a fault claim. There is no damage to my car and the third party repair costs are £300. Is it beneficial for me to 'buy back' my insurers third party costs when the matter is settled in terms of my future insurance premiums?

Yes, it is beneficial, but the cost will be more than £300 as you will have the engineers fee and any credit hire.
