Do wheel spacers and longer wheel bolts count as a modification that an insurer needs to be told about?

My grandson has fitted spacers and longer wheel bolts to the rear wheels of his BMW 320d. Will this infringe his insurance if he does not declare this modification?

Yes, it could. Never ever give an insurer an opportunity to not pay a claim. Always declare everything.
