I'm driving in France in June but my insurance company will not issue a Green Card until the date Brexit is announced?

My WW2 Jeep is taking me to Normandy with a group from the Military Vehicle Trust from the 1st to the 10th June for the 75 anniversary of D day. The MVT says I should have a Green Card but my insurance company will not issue one to me until the date Brexit is announced. Which of the two is correct?

The insurance provider is correct because the UK hasn't left the EU - and isn't due to do so until 31 October 2019. You will only need a green card and international driver's permit, in the event of a no-deal Brexit: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/driving-1/2019-03/drivin.../
