The battery on my Opel Omega has run down even though it's just been parked up. What's the cause?

How old is the battery? It's either worn out and needs replacing or you have a 'leak' - a live feed from something that's staying on that's draining the battery after you've turned the ignition off. If you don't have a way of testing the battery's health, your local auto electrician may be able to give it a health check.
