Are there set workshop times for specific jobs?

Are there official times for specific jobs on a Volkswagen T5 Transporter? I have been charged what I think is an excessive price for changing the fuel pipe which was split.

According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you should pay a reasonable price for the service, and no more.

If you feel you have been overcharged, collect quotes from other garages for the same job to show what you have paid is not reasonable. Return to the garage and politely point out why you feel you have paid too much. If the garages refuses to refund the difference, raise the complaint to any trade associations they are a member as they will step in on your behalf.

If all of that fails, seek legal advice to see if you can pursue the matter through the mall claims court.
