If I fit an electronic ignition to my 1930s car, will I have to make manual adjustments to the advance and retard?

I am in the process of purchasing a 1934 Rolls Royce 20/25. I have found a company that sells an electronic ignition conversion for my car. Does this mean that I won't have to make any manual adjustments to the advance and retard while driving?

Each electronic ignition system is slightly different, so I think this is probably a question you need to put directly to the manufacturer. However, in your case, I think you will still need to set the fuel mixture and advance/retard the ignition by hand as it's a driver-operated system with no other way of adjustments being made (compared to a vacuum advance or and ECU).
