A driving lesson for 11-17-year olds – from £35
It might not be legal to drive on the road until the age of 17, but that doesn’t mean youngsters who want to learn are out of luck. Admiral Young Driver lets anyone aged between 11 and 17 get behind the wheel of a Skoda Citigo in a safe and legal environment, in cars with dual controls.
The scheme is operated almost like a roadshow, with various venues across the UK and a selection of dates for each. 30 and 60 minute lessons are available, covering basic car control as well as roadcraft. As a foundation for eventually getting a proper driving licence it’s fantastic and should make for safer driving.
