Nice to drive when they work ... avoid these ..

We bought the Astra elite 1.4 auto ... for family car ... we had it 3 days till we spotted an oil leak , it went back to dealership after they had it for wks it seamed there was more than 1 leak ( sump & rocker cover) it was delayed for longer due to other bits not right we pulled out deal & had another car same spec ... Nice to drive as said held the road well ... 6wks later the engine management light came on .. called AA man he hooked it up to tester cam sensor fault ...again back to dealer ... 4mm gap in camshaft .. Needless to say no longer own this either .. changed car totally... just for record I don't drive hard I've been driving for yrs 20+ yrs so I do know how to drive these astras are a huge letdown ... wouldn't recommend shame on vauxhall petrol 1.4 engine not worth the hassle 2 cars & months of stress..
