T3 1.0 VVT-i 5dr Hatchback

Modern day 2CV

This is a compact, yet relatively roomy, tall city car. The 1.0 is pretty weak for cross country use, but gets 48mpg in urban use. Great turning circle.

Toyota reliability except the 3-cylinder engine has started using oil on an irregular basis, likely started by the local Toyota dealer failing to fill the oil after a service (or not securing the oil filter - in any case after the service it was found to have no oil in the sump - yikes! Strangely no sign of the oil in the exhaust, under the engine or in the coolant...

This car is used for patient transport on a regular basis and is ideal for that with the high roofline.

Curiosities? The wheel jack is under the passenger seat. Not much legroom with the rear seats shifted forward.

Niggles? The 165 15 profile wheels are way too big for a 1.0 city car (lower trim levels had more sensible footwear). And seems to collect punctures for some reason.
