A noisy little car that is very functional, but has no soul

Bought this to replace a Fiat Panda that I had since 2005 with no problems. Its function is to give transport to 3 teenage/twentysomething children, so it gets well used. The Skoda has now done 3500 miles. It is bigger inside and slightly quicker, but it is so much less fun. The engine/drivetrain is very noisy, the handling is adequate at best, it is just far less nimble than the Panda. Ventilation is poor, the windscreen washer jets are poor. Overall a bit disappointed. It does its job but whereas I used to fight past the Mercedes and Subaru to drive the Panda, the kids can have this one.
