307sw 1.6 16V petrol

Incredible practicality with a comfortable ride

I bought this estate because it is the smallest seven seater available and the rear seats are completely removable. The rear most seats are just for kids, but I only use them on the occasional visit by the grandparents, and our kids are very happy to sit in the back. The individual seats can be separately removed which makes the 307sw very versatile for many combinations of cargo and people. I once carried a (disassembled) warderobe along with four people in this car. Without seats it carries an impressive amount of cargo, more than estates from the class above (e.g mondeo, passat etc.). For a seven seater it is pretty low to the ground so within the seven seater category it handles very well, and has a comfortable ride. I thought the panoramic sunroof was a gimmick but it does make the cabin feel more spacious and I appreciate it much more than expected. I have not had any issues since purchasing this car in July 2020 so it has been reliable. The main quibbles I have with the car is the lack of 6th gear which makes the motor rev quite high at motorway speeds. The cabin is a bit plain and the materials are not that great. Overall I was a little wary of buying a Peugeot, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I like this car.
