Overall reliability

Good reliable comfortable car, sorry to see it go

Had the X Trail for about 14 years, without any serious problems, & still going strong after 109 000 miles.
Regularly averages 8 miles per litre (36 mpg)
Top of the range with heated, leather seats & electric controls have spoiled us - don't want to go back.
Goes better than most of the modern SUVs we've tried recently (X Trails, RAV4s, Sportages, etc) which makes finding a replacement difficult.
As with other reliable, Japanese cars, parts can be expensive but seldom needed....e,g. simple fuel pump nearly £400 from Nissan (in fact used spurious part for about £40)
Only wish they still made the same model now - I'd buy it !
