Lots of space and a good drive

I switched from a Land Rover Freelander to the Qashqai+2. Immediate reaction was so much more interior space and the grandchildren do fit in the 6th & 7th seats (ages 9 & 11) but not for much longer I fear. For short journeys it should not be a problem. The drive is very good (17 inch wheels) and the Tekna has a lot of 'nice' features which make the whole driving experience much more comfortable. My problem came during the spell of bad weather in December 2010 when I wished I had the 4 wheel drive stability of the Freelander. Fortunately I did not have any essential journeys to make and the self enforced lay up did not cause me too much inconvenience. Maybe next time I will go for the 4x4 version. Overall verdict: good value for money.
