Main dealers inept, car unreliable.

Mercedes approved dealers inept. Unable to repair basic issues, trying to do things on the cheap & not replace broken parts. Numerous faults on collection from main dealer. For instance, wipers on test drive smearing, Pointed it out to salesman, took 3 visits to fix. They just didn't wamt to spend money on a set of new blades. Not fit to be set loose repairing a scalextric car. Avoid.

Parking brake stuck on, had to be towed away after 3 weeks of ownership.

Torque converter failed in a few weeks, fortunately replaced under warranty

Door mirrors had a mind of their own.

Roof leaked on to front seat.

Software update due to cheat issues means gearbox won't go into top gear unless you get up to about 78mph, either stay in 6th, or go into manual, change to 7th then back to auto.

Leak from oil cooler, in middle of V, over £1,000 to replace. Who puts an oil cooler in the middle of an engine???

Coolant issue, loss of indication, high fuel consumption while u/s. £800

Brake pipes corroded, known problem, £1,000

Air filter design is part of intakes, air filters £75 for parts alone.

Terminal engine failure at 135,000 miles. Repair cost more than value of car.
